Research Shows Link Between Chiropractic and Nonmusculoskeletal Conditions
Chiropractors
have known since 1895 that chiropractic adjustments can help more than
just pain related to the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles,
ligaments). The problem has always been that there is little formal research
to show what clinicians see in practice everyday. A recent study of 5,607
chiropractic patients in seven countries, under the care of 385 doctors
of chiropractic, has shown an interesting link between nonmusculoskeletal
problems (problems that are not related to the bones, joints, muscles
and ligaments) and chiropractic care.
